MEMBER BIO:
Hi I’m Rick,
I grew up on a farm in Missouri near Branson. I’m an Army Veteran. At an early age I spent most of my time outdoors in the woods, on the lake or the rivers and became an avid hunter and adventurer. I learned at an early age to love and respect nature. I must say I took it for granted until I moved to Arizona after military duty.
Today I work the executive grind but still value going to Northern Arizona every weekend I can to camp and explore. I often take overland trips mostly AZ, CA, UT, CO and NM.
I have a new Australian Cattle Dog – Blue Heeler puppy (my road dog and exploring companion)
Hobbies are contemplation, swimming, camping, kayaking and motorcycle riding.
I have a 2023 Subaru Outback Wilderness – I needed a comfortable daily driver and a capable vehicle off road and on the trails as well. It has served me well so far with no modifications. (that’s to come)
As for equipment I am a minimalist where I can be. Favorite piece of equipment is the vehicle.
I am proud to be a Camp Steward Ambassador and truly respect nature and love to keep it clean.
