I’ve spent 22 years as a Corrections Deputy with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department in Washington. I also spent 10 years with the Washington Army National Guard with one deployment to Kuwait and Iraq.

 

I’ve been a long time member of the Northwest Overland Society – from around 2007. I have been through quite the assortment of overlanding vehicles in that time, two Jeep JK’s (2007 and 2013), an 86 Isuzu Trooper,  2014 Ram Powerwagon and now a 2018 Ram 2500 turbo diesel with my 2021 Outdoors RV 21DBS four season trailer.

 

Lately I have been just dipping my toes into mountain biking. I’m currently deep into the RV life and planning my retirement in about 8 years. At that time, I plan on traveling the country with the truck and trailer.

 

I found 4XPEDITION while doing research on a RockPals 500 battery pack. I watched Scott’s video and noticed it was sponsored by Northwest Overland. Of course I then bought the pack. Great pack and it’s still doing what it needs to.

 

My ties to Northwest Overland.
I was just getting into offroading and had joined a local club. I quickly got tired of hitting the same old trails and in a sense, outgrew that style. In 2007, I found Craig and Dan at Northwest Overland society and asked if I could join with my Trooper as it was a land Rover centered club. They invited me in and the rest is history.

 

Now I enjoy being a member of both NWOL and 4XPEDITION.
