MEMBER BIO:

My name is Brian Schott. I moved to Arizona about 5 years ago from Pennsylvania. I have always had toys. Back east, I had several different fifth-wheel trailers, trucks to pull them, and was always into high-performance cars (Mustangs, Audis, BMWs etc.) and I have always been into motorcycles.

After moving to Arizona, however, I discovered the vast outdoors of the west. I love the wide open spaces and I love to explore. Not long after moving to Arizona, I met Scott. He was one of my neighbors and we soon started exploring together. I purchased my first off-road vehicle around 2018 which was a lifted Nissan X-Terra. Scott and I took our vehicles at the time over Engineer’s Pass in Colorado. Here I quickly learned to love the adventure sport of overlanding. I switched up to a Rubicon and converted it into a fully self-contained overland rig. I also purchased a Mercedes Sprinter Motorcoach and have explored a lot of the west in that camping vehicle.

I have always been into motorcycles–on road and off-road. I purchased a KTM 790 and Scott–with his 390 Adventure–explored a great deal of Arizona.

I have since purchased and completely upgraded a Honda Talon and now a Polaris RZR. I absolutely love my side-by-sides and spend a great deal of time driving them and exploring hundreds of square miles of Sonoran Desert near my home.

I work remotely as a IT Security tech for a global company based on the east coast. I have a 26 year old daughter who had her first child–a baby girl–in 2022. I love being a grandpa!
