MEMBER BIO:

I was born and raised in Upland, CA.  I moved to Arizona to attend NAU and graduated in 1991.  Since college I have lived in Boise, ID, Hillsboro, OR and several cities here in the Phoenix metro area and I currently reside in Queen Creek, AZ.  I really enjoy living in AZ, specifically the East Valley as it makes it easy to explore the Superstition Mountains, the Salt River and its four lakes, especially Canyon Lake. I am 53 years old and I was recently engaged to my soulmate Kari and we have actually known each other since 7th grade…long courtship I know…lol.

I enjoy stand up paddle boarding (SUP), skiing, golf and  now that I’m 53, I plan to get back to nature even more with more camping, fishing, hiking and ofcourse road tripping all over the western U.S.

I have a daughter who just turned 21 and my fiance’ and I just welcomed a golden retriever puppy into our lives.  I hope to teach the puppy, Charlie, how to SUP with me as I used to do with my yellow lab Maya who passed away last year.  SUPing with my pup is one of my favorite things to do.

In short, I love the outdoors and plan to spend as much time as I can doing the things that truly make me happy!
