MEMBER BIO:

We live on a farm in the country near Rainier, Washington. Kathy has lived here for 29 years, I’ve lived here for 20 years. I’m originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Kathy is from southern Illinois. We’ve been married for 17 years. We love to take our jeep out on adventures. Washington state is ideal for just that. Being that we have our own farm, we don’t tend to go on long excursions. The farm tends to tie us down. Once a year we enjoy going to Port Townsend as this is where we got married on the beach there.

We have many animals on the farm: Alpacas, livestock guardian dogs, dogs in and out of the house, barn cats, cats that live under the house “to take care of the mice population”, cats in the house, a sun conure, chickens, geese, goats, and guinea fowl.

We are looking forward to retirement from work and the farm. We would like to relocate to Northern New Mexico in the lower rockies. Kathy loves the snow…so do I. But, I don’t like driving to work in the snow! LOL. We look forward to going on longer adventures and rediscovering New Mexico and the southwest once we are retired.
