Want to help grow TEAM 4X? Here’s what you can do.

Use the Forum The forum is in the early stages of activity. Many members have logged on and introduced themselves and have created posts and continued conversation while other members have not taken the time yet to log in at all. The most important component of the forum is interaction: create topics, like other people’s topics, and comment whenever you can. This establishes a strong conversation platform which in turn creates a solid, strong community. As new people sign on, they will have rich content from members to browse and find interesting things to talk about.

Refer Friends The TEAM 4X Member Portal offers a bonus program for members you refer to join. If they join, you get credit and that credit goes toward additional entries in giveaways as well as discounts on next year’s membership fees. Plus there is another great benefit to referring friends. As our community is not specific to location, it is beneficial to each member to have other members in reasonable proximity to one another.  If we can get established regions of members, this will allow for localized events and localized member discounts in particular regions. There are many ways you can refer friends and family to join. First, you can utilize your personal referral link. Each member has a unique id and referral link. You can find your link to share under “Refer A Friend” in the sidebar navigation. Copy that link and send it to your friends or share it on your social media.

Submit Ideas Your ideas matter and count. I have worked very hard to get the portal live. Yet, I am the first to recognize that it isn’t nearly ideal or perfect. It needs a lot of work yet. For instance, I am looking at a mobile app for members that use their phones to access the portal. There are lots of ideas current members have submitted that I have already implemented. If, for instance, you think there should be another category for the forum. Don’t assume it wasn’t added for some particular reason. It may just not have been in scope at the time of development. By all means, make suggestions using the form on the Suggestion Box page found in the sidebar navigation. And, if you have an idea or an event or what have you…all ideas are welcomed.

Suggest Improvements This is similar to suggesting ideas but specifically focuses on things that you see that are potential issues to resolve. If you are not enjoying your experience using the portal or are concerned about your membership or feeling less engaged because of some issue with the platform or membership, I want to know. You are each early adopters. This means that your user experience is what I am gauging current and future success on. Please, by all means, help me make the experience better. Again, use the Suggestion Box page for this.

Like, Comment, and Share One of the key methods I use to promote 4XPEDITION and the TEAM 4X Member Portal is through organic, boots-on-the-ground social media. I am a member of many different groups on Facebook, follow lots of people on Instagram, engage with people on YouTube, and so on. My ask of you is that if you see a post from me on social media, like it, comment on it, and share it. When sharing, please consider doing so to your personal Facebook feed if you feel it resonates. And, if you are a member of any key interest groups on Facebook, please consider sharing the post to those groups so group members can engage with it.

Comment on YouTube If you watch the 4XPEDITION YouTube channel, please consider not only clicking on the LIKE button but also making a comment in the comments window below the video. This is very valuable to me as it boosts the video in the YouTube algorithm which gives the video more exposure to new people who may find what we are doing here of interest. Your simple engagement with my videos when posted (which are designed to entertain, inform and help me market what I a doing) are significantly valuable to me and 4XPEDITION.

Invite To Like Another way you can help build my marketing system to promote TEAM 4X is to “invite to like”. On the 4XPEDITION Facebook page, there is a way for you to invite your friends and family to like the page. This simple act can bring in hundreds of new followers. Many of those individuals will consider joining the team. And, many may have already heard of 4XPEDITION and didn’t realize you were also a follower or member. Like-minded individuals tend to draw together. That is what I hope for.

Suggest Events The ever-so-lovely Debaru (Member #30) made an attempt to lead in a meetup event. I loved that initiative. Please, Deb, don’t feel discouraged. This is still really new and early on. I intend to bring events to the foreground starting this month. The event location I have scheduled for later this month is likely going to be changed as I discovered that Sheep Bridge road is pretty rough right now. I think I will opt for something less complicated. And, for my friends that are not in Arizona, this is not an Arizona-based membership. I intend to get events going in other regions as well. Some I will participate in and others I hope you will spearhead and execute on. Again, though, this is still a fairly early stage of the community. As we get more members on board things will start to solidify.

Refer Partners One team member, Luke M. ( Team Member #14) has already made a connection for me that I see as one that could value the entire team. He referred me to Ironman 4×4 which makes suspension systems for many different kinds of vehicles. He used his TEAM 4X Membership to make that deal happen. Good for you Luke! But, what’s more, is that Luke was able to help me establish a relationship with the head of marketing at Ironman. Because so, we are now working on a member discount for all of you. This will soon be offered on the Member Discounts page. Do you have a business or a friend who works for a company that might benefit from marketing on our platform or could benefit other members by receiving a group discount? Please, by all means, refer them to me to establish a team relationship.

Use Partner Deals When building your camping gear system or building up your vehicle, let me know what you are in the market for. I may be able to help you. I may have a referral code you can use to either get a discount or at the very least, give 4XPEDITION credit for the purchase. This goes a long way in helping me establish value to the partners that sell the things you want. If you purchase them and 4XPEDITION gets the credit, they tend to listen more readily to my ideas when it comes to things like them sponsoring the sweepstakes for instance. In the long run, this benefits each of you.

Participate in Zoom Camp We have held two Zoom Camp calls so far since launch. Only a few members have tuned in for each. I think Zoom Camp is an ideal place to get to know members and will be a live collaboration platform. As it grows, I intend to bring on guest speakers to allow you to ask questions and get valuable information. But, to have Zoom Camp be a success, I need participants. Please consider putting it on your calendar to tune in. Right now, I am only hosting one per month. I do intend to increase frequency as the membership grows. Share Your Unique Skills and Services If you have skills I should know about, then please let me know. For instance, if you are an app developer who can help create an app that benefits everyone, then I want to know about it. If you have sales skills, if you have writing skills, or whatever you might have an eye for–let me know. It could be beneficial for everyone in many different ways.
