I expect the property I purchased to close escrow quickly. It turns out that my life fits inside two 6x12 trailers. . In a few hours, my friend Matt Wells from @blacklabel.garage will be helping me transport vehicles and belongings 9.5 on the I-40 east. My friend Brian will also join the ‘fun’. Hope to get back to filming and sharing episodes on 4XPEDITION Adventurer next week. I’ve got a few episodes filmed, just need time to edit. Venture out. . So, I’ve been busy. I just bought Venture out. . So, I’ve been busy. I just bought property in the Rocky Mountains of Northern New Mexico with a small 500 sf cabin on it. After 32 years of living in the desert of Arizona, in exactly 1 week, I am relocating. I’m very excited to start renovating the cabin and I will be sharing that on 4XPEDITION Adventurer. I also intend to build other structures over the next few years including a barn and main cabin. I will be building 4XPEDITION from there. . I will likely spend a few months a year down in Arizona when the weather is ideal there. But I love having the opportunity to stay for the winter if I choose. . This region has almost limitless opportunities for outdoor adventure. And I’m so excited because it’s all going to be new to me. Elk and Big horn sheep abound. Brown bears and other wildlife run the area. Amazing mountain lakes and fly fishing streams. 13,000 foot peaks, river canyons, and extraordinary beauty . Venture out..on a moment’s notice. . At 5:00 PM Venture out..on a moment’s notice. . At 5:00 PM last night I got a wild hair to hit the road in my Sprinter RV and head up to Taos, New Mexico to look at some land. An hour later I was on the road. Drove for 2 1/2 hours. Pulled off the road and slept for four hours. Got up at 3 AM and drove a few more hours. Then pulled off the I 40 and slept for another four hours. Pretty crazy what you can do when you have a ready to go all-inclusive home-on-wheels. . In these photos you will see the Rio Grande And the Rio Grand Canyon.
