Hi folks. As you know I am not an exclusive vehicle person. More a tool for the job. My 2017 outback has now hit 50,000 miles and I have had my eye on the developments of the new Wilderness Edition Outback which is supposed to be a more rugged, higher clearance, Outback. Not sure if it will be any better than just getting an Onyx Edition and adding aftermarket lift and skids, etc. We will see. Nonetheless, I am looking at getting a new 2022 Outback and selling mine or trading it in if I can work a special deal with a local dealer to co-promote their store on my channel and here in the member forum. In fact, I have been working on establishing a process for purchase and aftermarket upgrades for people who might want a turnkey solution for the Outback. I also still have the Ram truck and may build that into a full-sized overlander but not sure yet. It may not be necessary. All still up in the air what I will do going forward if anything at all. But, I thought these shots of the new factory Outback looked pretty nice.
Yeah, the wilderness addition looks interesting for sure. Glad Subaru is actually starting to embrace the idea a little more. I like the turnkey Outback idea as well. Cool stuff!
