My Subaru Hazel and I are excited to join all of you as a part of Team 4X. Yes, you did hear that right. I named my car Hazel. This is my second Outback and I love it! She has taken me many places exploring (mostly around Arizona) but now I am ready for some real Adventure in my future! After all we only have this one life so let's make it count!
I currently live in Phoenix, AZ but I am originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Growing up in an area that has all four seasons has taught me how to adapt and appreciate all that nature provides. Since moving to Arizona I have learned that the desert truly is a beautiful place if you take time to venture out and see what it has to offer. Since I am originally from a place where the grass is always greener -literally- I often find myself heading North towards green trees, fresh cool air and the quiet calm out of the city. I am an outdoor gal and love to explore. When I have a few days off I just load up Hazel and my guitar and head out! I love to trail run, mountain bike, hike, car camp & adventure out to see new places.

Arizona still has a lot open for the time being, definitely a lot of fun to explore while you can. If you haven't spent much time over on the east side near the NM border that's a really special part of Arizona (and NM) to hike and swim... and catwalk canyon is a great escape from the Phoenix heat in late summer
