Checking in! My name is Alan Elam, and while my wife and I live in a high rise condo building in the Biltmore area of Phoenix, my passion is being outside. I am in an airplane partnership and like to fly all over Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Utah. All have fantastic outdoor places to hike, camp, and explore. My focus this year will be in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. Will upload some pictures. I have a 15 pound maltipoo dog that we adopted from the AZ Humane Society back in October. Turns out, she LOVES hiking on the trails around the Valley of the Sun. Frankly, I am having trouble keeping up with her! Anyone else hike and camp with their dog(s)?
Hello Alan! So glad to have you here! Everybody, you have virtually met Alan before. He is the gent that I have created flight videos with in the past and will be doing so again in the future. Alan is a great friend of mine, and hopefully yours soon as well. I met Alan in the Mankind Project group I belong to.

welcome to the group! Id love to learn more about the trails her in AZ. I love to hike but am unfamiliar with this state and what it offers. I cant wait to see some photos of your adventures!
