Hello from MtnSubi in the SF Bay Area!

Hi Team 4X! I'm Carey from the SF Bay area.

My daily driver is a modified 2014 Subaru Outback. My husband and I have two teens and several adventuring animals.

I'm also competing the the Rebelle Rally, which is a women-only off-road driving and navigation (map and compass only-no GPS!) competition in October 2021. Please feel free to follow our IG @MtnSubi as we prepare and compete this year!

I'm a native Californian who lived in the Bay area for 20 years prior to moving to Arizona. I truly miss the the Redwoods and all of the wonderful open space that area offers.

Good luck in the Rebelle Rally, which sounds like an epic way to have an off-road adventure. I'll be sure to follow along to see how you're doing. I would love to talk to you about your experience when you're finished -- maybe this is something I would like to attempt in my Crosstrek in the future.

Hi Deb! My parents are in AZ too, retiring there from Colorado several years ago. So I am blessed to have many different environments to visit: coast, redwoods, oak woodlands, sierras, high deserts in AZ, and glacial mountains in MT.

I'd be happy to share my experiences with you about the Rebelle and encourage you to follow them on social media as well. It's an amazing group of adventurous women from all different kinds of backgrounds. I've been so impressed with how supportive and encouraging everyone is.
