Hello everyone!
My name is Kyle Stewart and I'm excited to be a part of a community that will push me to get out of my comfort zone and explore all the world has to offer. While I love getting outdoors, having two young kids under the age of 6 makes it difficult to find the motivation at times. My daughter who is 5 has recently shown a lot of interest in camping and backpacking so we're planning a few backpacking trips this year, and more camping trips as a family.
I'm from Salt Lake City, UT and grew up hiking the Uinta mountains, visiting Bryce Canyon, Zions, and Moab, but moved to Portland two years and have enjoyed exploring all the PNW has to offer. Some of my favorite places I've visited so far include Crater Lake, Canon Beach, and the Redwoods.
I recently purchased a Subaru Outback Onyx Edition XT, and am itching to go on a road trip and take it off-road. I don't have any overlanding gear installed on it (yet), but that won't stop me from exploring and venturing out.
I look forward to learning from all you and contributing to this community in any way I can.
Welcome! Road trips are a bit more hassle just as of late but there light at the end of the tunnel I think..
Well you don't need much in the way of overlanding gear just a spare tire & jack, full tank of gas and the most precious bit of kit there is: time.
Hi there Kyle! Thanks for joining and also for making the suggestions about the TEAM 4X App. I am considering options. In the meantime, I look forward to having you here and watching you introduce your kids to the great outdoors.
Hey Kyle,
Sounds like you’re in the perfect area that’s begging for more exploration! I’m also a fellow Subaru owner (2018 Crosstrek 6MT) and look forward to seeing more from you!

Thanks Scott, I look forward to being a part of this group.
@greg-scherer Thanks Greg! I had a Crosstrek before the Outback, we traded it in for the extra storage space. I love the outback but miss the Crosstrek at times.
We have a number of trips planned this in Oregon and look forward to getting out more.
