Hey guys and gals,
Excited to find this community. Really like what I’m already seeing and reading.
I currently live in Southern Indiana with my wife Karen, and our three dogs. We are from Southern California but move around for work.
Over the years I’ve been involved in various Jeep clubs and have had a 93 YJ that I drive almost 400,000 miles and a Jeep TJ. Loved them both but my focus then was more on rock crawling.
We just recently sold our Ram truck and travel trailer (because the market is insane) and bought a 2022 Subaru Outback. Love it so far.
I have a new Ironman4x4 suspension in the garage already waiting for a nice day to be out on.
We are both excited to get more into Overland camping trips and building a capable vehicle for that.

I love hearing about everyone and their adventures. It’s especially fun because at one point or another it seems we’ve all been at that same particular place. Whether it’s a Jeep, Toyota, camper, roof top tent, Subaru etc. each of us have knowledge and experience. Sharing different ideas and the good and bads are some of the best stories and ways to learn about each other and our rigs.

Welcome!! You know I’ve always wanted to have a TJ. When I was growing up I would always look to see if I could buy one for my first car. I grew on jeeps I actually learned how to drive off-road on a jeep for the first like two years before I could actually get my real license. So they have a special place in my heart. Nice to hear that you got a Subaru though I’m really liking my Subaru as well the newer ones have some pretty great add-ons. I’ve heard the new ones have like a tesla screen, it’s crazy!! Love to see a picture of your Subaru if you have one!!
