I just realized I had posted this in the Classified adds section back in December, so I have reposted here where it should have been! I will be adding some new posts to show my new rigs, and also some of the Mods to my Pick up.

December 2021:

Merry Christams To Me! Happy Birthday to Me! Merry Christams to Meeeee! Happy Birthday tooo Meee! LOL!

Well my 60th birthday gift, may turn out to be My Merry Christmas to Meeee!

Back in September, after my Humphreys Peak Escalation, I attended the Overland Expo in Flagstaff to scope out a major addition to my Contractor to Overlander Project!

My birthday gift may turn out to be a Merry Christmas to Me!! Instead!!

Here is a sneak peak at the 3 models I have decided to review and decide on one.

Give me some feed back on which one you would pick. I am putting together a video to show each ones features as well, which I will share ASAP!

Then I will unvail soon what Santa might put in my Stocking!!

Very Merry Christmas to you all! Or should I say Merry 4Xmas!!!  And a Very Happy New Year, with a Properous and Expanding 4Xpedition!!

John Paul T.

@John-twarog Hey there! I'm new to the group and was going through the old postings. You've probably already picked one by now, but I personally like the layout of the 4 wheel camper the best. That said, it's what works best for you that matters. Best of luck!

@michael-chandler, Great meeting you on the Zoom Camp. I really did like the 4 wheel Camper interior,  except that it did not have the Shower/toilet wet bath. This is an available option, but it would be right in the middle of the camper,  and have to be setup and removed each time it was used. Which wasn't not very functional for me. I like the dedicated area for the Toilet/Wet bath. I don't mind going out into the woods to relieve oneself, so to speak, LOL, but it did come in handy when I was sort of Urban camping,  this past weekend,at a inner City event. Plus, the shower was really nice after a sweaty day of fun! Hope to see you in May, at the Expo in Flagstaff.

@john-twarog Makes perfect sense, especially for urban camping! I bought tickets for Friday at Expo. We're going up Thursday night and spending the night in a hotel so we can be there bright and early on Friday a.m. I look forward to meeting you in person!

With fuel prices on the uptick!..I'm considering combining my exercise routine with a new budget Overlanding Rig! I may have to leave a few days early, to make it to the wedding in time though! But my thighs will be Hulk Like when I get there!

LOL! 🤣 😆

I gotta admit my lotto fantasy is to overland... by bicycle.

It's not about the money for gas or the money for equipment, but the time it takes to travel the slow way.  I could pay ahead a couple months on the mortgage but I can't tell my boss and my customers hey I'll be back in two months just sit on your problems a while mmk?

The price of fuel is a great reason to think about right-sizing your overlander and its modifications though!   Some things can't be helped,  a V8's gonna drink what it drinks but some of the cosmetic stuff we all love to look at on instagram doesn't help off road as much as you wanna believe and slaughters fuel mileage!
