Went to my local bike shop in Hampton TN. to look at a new bikepacking rig. The owner,  Brain asked me what I was currently riding. I told I had a Surly Long Haul Trucker. He explained to me that new bikes were very hard to come by and was curious why I wanted a new bike. Well that's a good question. I told him I wanted to go to paddle shifters, a bigger gravel tire and go tubless. He said he could do all that and how much he liked the old school surly. So for a couple hundred dollars I now have my new bikepacking rig.

Wow! Look at that overall setup! Looks so familiar! What wheels you have on that Subi? The rack looks like a Front Runner. I mentioned elsewhere in the forum here that I am thinking about designing my own rack that is more stealth than that rack but is way easier to install than the Prinsu I have.  I saw that you were into Bikepacking. What's that bike look like loaded with gear?
